31 Creators. 74 Countries. One Dataset.
There are hundreds of "safest country" videos out there. So I pulled 31 of them, all posted by women, and broke down every country each one named. One vote per creator. Any rating under 7/10 didn't count. Thailand won by a mile, named by 9 of 31 creators, almost 1 in 3.

Methodology
How the Data Was Built
31 women travel creators each shared their pick for the safest country they’ve traveled to alone. Each creator counted as one vote, with no double-counting or weighting based on audience size.
This is Version 1 of the dataset. As more women travel creators share their picks, the dataset will continue to grow.
A smaller group of four creators also provided explicit 1–10 safety ratings for some of their picks. Where available, these ratings are shown alongside the vote counts on the map.

What the picks actually show

Thailand was the runaway favorite, named by nearly 1 in 3 creators, more than any other country in the dataset.

Countries named by exactly one creator, including Aruba, Australia, Bangladesh, Belize. If you want safe but uncrowded, that's where to look.

Africa had more distinct countries named than any other region, even though it wasn't the top region by total votes.

Countries scored by two different creators: China (both creators agreed on a 10); Nigeria (scores ranged from a 6 in Lagos to 10s in Kano and Abuja, averaging 9.3); Rwanda (a 9 from one creator, a 7 from the other: two different impressions of the same place)

Total votes cast across 31 creators and 74 countries. Some creators named several places, so the total runs higher than one-per-person.
Limitations
What this dataset can't tell you
- 1
This is 31 creators' personal picks, not a random or representative sample of travelers. It reflects who happened to make this kind of video, not the world.
- 2
Each creator got exactly one vote for their single favorite. A country they loved almost as much, but didn't name, doesn't show up here at all.
- 3
A pick reflects one person's trip, itinerary, and comfort level, not an objective measure of a country's safety. Two creators can visit the same place and come away with different impressions.
- 4
The dataset can only surface places creators already chose to visit and film. It says nothing about countries no one in the sample traveled to.
- 5
This is version 1, a single snapshot. Treat it as one real, documented perspective, not a replacement for your own research or your government's current travel advisories.
